REEBOX

REEbox, a versatile storage system made of 100% plywood waste. It comes from a very simple idea based on a modular system, that 
can fit into any space. REEbox is a transformative, and could be used as a storage system, a removal system, or as multiple furniture pieces.

By using a very accessible softwood plywood, we have reduced the weight of each unit and ensure durability. A fully loaded REEbox is still manageable for two people to carry; 4 aluminum clips with a bevelled profiled edge, helps attach them in their solid block forms.

Storquestudios would like to propose a design solution that is entrenched in our research and ethos, and is 100% derivative of the current consumer market. In the past few years, we have been working on the REEsort project of prefabricated furniture made out of waste/surplus wooden substance. REEsort is a form of waste management, a form of awareness in goods consumption, and is a way of thinking around the modern cultural dilemma of ‘identity-building’ through the ‘new’.
