Catharine and Mark have recently moved to Tottenham; North London. The house they moved in has been recently refurbished; however there were not enough storage solutions. Cat & Mark brought StorqueStudios in to help create a series of bespoke storage units made with a material they love: birch plywood.

We started with re-purposing the already existing fireplaces. This was an essential area to block from their baby Fin, and a great way to utilise unused space.

The Understairs unit was next. Cat & Mark had very specific ideas for this area, and we worked closely to construct different sized berch ply to fit the space. A large wardrobe, washing machine unit, chest of drawers and a few other triangular shaped storage compartments were created for this understairs unit. THe front is varnished birch with slotted brass details and an ebony stain finishing.

The last task was to upgrade Ikea units upstairs in the guest room…we all know how fragile these designs can be. After reinforcing the body with additional support using ply, side pannels and berch ply doors were added…miter join birch ply shelves connected the two units…

We really enjoyed working on the Greyhound Road project

Thank you to Cat and Mark for choosing
