This light is a special, atmospheric floor lamp that has evolved in a fusion of found objects.A Jasper Morrison opal globe style, and a dogs water bowl stand, made in Sweden.
In StorqueStudios, we like to change and twist the context of objects, using existing components, to give them new meaning. Name (Sputnik V) was a very natural decision to make. This light is not only a romantic reminiscence of soviet space exploration, but also a memorial for all the extraordinaryevents happening in the past, present and future.
Sputnik V is powered by electric cable plugged directly to the wall... It comes with a powerful, 500 lumens LED lightbulb.
